This is a really delightful variation for the guacamole. Changing the onion to chives and putting just a tiny piece of garlic in it makes it much milder in taste, and the lemon juice gives it a refreshing twist. But the real trick in it is the feta cheese: it adds a lot of extra taste and creaminess and just makes it irresistible.
- 2 avocados
- 130g feta cheese
- a handful of chives
- juice of a half lemon
- 1 tomato
- 1 small garlic (minced or grated)
- freshly grated pepper
There are two ways to make it;
If you like it creamy set everything in the blender ans blend until smooth.
If you prefer it chunky mush the avocado and feta in a bowl with a fork. Mince onion, chives, grate garlic, dice tomato and mix with all the rest of the ingredients in the bowl.
It is best with veggies to dip like paprika, carrots, zucchini or celery. It is a really healthy snack or appetizer but be careful, because it is also completely addictive!
